Russ King

Senior Pastor

Russ has been the Senior Pastor at CCKF (Calvary Chapel of Klamath Falls) since 2008.  Russ grew up working on his family’s farm in the San Joaquin Valley, until he moved to Klamath Falls to finish his senior year of high school at Henley in 1993-94. After some time at College of the Siskiyous, he moved to Hawaii where he became a journeyman carpenter for Niking Corporation.  During his time at college, Russ’ eyes were opened by the Word of God to a saving knowledge of Jesus.  In the years spent living in Hawaii, he served as a youth minister and Servant at Large at North Shore Christian Fellowship.  Russ met his wife, Cassandra, at NSCF, and they married in May of 2004.  Russ and Cassandra have one son, Joshua.  Russ left the island of Oahu to attend Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta, CA.  While living in Murrieta, Russ and Cassandra served alongside a church plant in Encinitas, CA.  After attending Bible college, Russ felt called back home to Klamath Falls. He started attending and volunteering at CCKF in 2005, serving over 2 years as the Youth and College Pastor.  He loves the opportunity to be part of the body at CCKF, to teach God’s word, train and raise up disciples and leaders, and share the love of God. He is blessed to be a Pastor, living out our CCKF mission of Loving God, Loving Others, and Making Disciples. One of Russ’ favorite verses is John 3:30, which records John the Baptist’s words, “He must increase, but I must decrease.”

He has also contributed to several ministries at other churches including Youth Ministry, teaching third through eighth grade, serving on the Sound Crew, and welcoming others as a Greeter.
Eddie finds great joy in leading the Men’s Ministry, where he connects with “real men with real lives who have real faith in Jesus.” He values the opportunity to walk alongside other men—husbands, fathers, brothers, employees, and leaders—as they grow together in faith and fellowship. Eddie has been married to his beautiful bride, Jessica, since 1999 and they have raised their three children in Klamath Falls.
His favorite verse is Philippians 1:6:

Her favorite verse is Galatians 2:20, which reads, “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life that I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”

Jeff Moresi

Secretary

Jeff has served as the Church Secretary at Calvary Chapel Klamath Falls (CCKF) since June 2022, though his journey with the church began much earlier—he’s been a faithful attendee since 1992. Over the years, Jeff has generously volunteered in a wide range of ministries, including Children’s Ministry (as both Teacher and Director), Deacon, Marriage Ministry Facilitator, and Offering Counter. His heart for service was evident even before joining CCKF, where he contributed to another church as a Worship Leader, Children’s Ministry Teacher, Bible Study Facilitator, and Board Secretary.
Jeff’s professional background is as diverse as his ministry experience. After earning a degree in Forest Management, he moved to Klamath Falls to work as a Forestry Technician for the U.S. Forest Service. Later, he transitioned into Human Resources at a local mill, where he served faithfully for 35 years until retirement. His early work life included roles as a fast-food shift manager, warehouse worker, clerk, and musician. Jeff married his beautiful bride, Chris, in 1988 and together they have raised four children.
In his role as Church Secretary, Jeff finds joy in encouraging and praying for others, and in helping the church staff stay organized and focused on ministry. He’s passionate about using his gifts to support the church’s mission and foster community. Jeff’s life verse is Micah 6:8:
“He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you, but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?” This verse guides his heart and actions, both in ministry and in daily life.
Outside of church, Jeff enjoys eating out and traveling with Chris, spending time with grandkids, walking and hiking in scenic areas, listening to jazz, and playing trombone.
